Our design teams have developed this one-piece swimsuit for intermediate swimmers looking for a swimming costume with thin straps and good stability. This highly chlorine-resistant one-piece swimming costume offers a good fit and is made with 70% recycled material, an innovation by Nabaiji.
The NEGOMBO component – EXCLUSIVE TO DECATHLON
The Negombo is a material made with 76% recycled fibres by combining polyester and T400 Lycra Co fibres. The mechanical elasticity added by the T400 fibre, paired with an innovative weaving method, ensuring a product that adapts to your shape and which retains its shape over time. Offering over 500 hours of chlorine resistance, its durability is five times greater than that of a material with elastane, which enables you to enjoy your product for longer.
ECO-DESIGN
This product was designed with the intention of reducing its environmental impact:
– The main component and the gusset are made with recycled components
– The opacity of the 210 gsm component means there’s no need to use a liner. This saves fabric and your swimsuit dries faster.
– The pattern cutting of this one-piece swimsuit maximises the consumption of the component and minimises industrial waste.
Lining
This swimsuit is unlined (except for the crotch area).
Why doesn’t my swimsuit have a hygienic sticker?
Since 2022, all women’s swimsuits designed at Decathlon are made without plastic stickers. If all the stickers were in a line, that would make 940km of plastic saved every year!
This meaningful decision is strongly based on protecting our planet and limiting the use of plastics.
Let’s make this responsibility a common commitment by making sure
to keep your underwear on when you go in the fitting room.
AQUARESIST TECHNOLOGY
Products bearing the AQUARESIST label are guaranteed to deliver chlorine resistance throughout their lifespan. They will maintain their elasticity and are UV resistant. For these reasons they are recommended for regular or intensive pool use.
